Report internal flooding to Wiltshire Council

Following Storm Bert, Wiltshire Council are asking residents to report any known properties that have suffered internal flooding. This can be either homes or businesses.

This helps them build a picture of the nature of the flooding and enables Wiltshire Council to access any funding if it because available from Central Government.

Urgent Closure of: B3107 (Part), Melksham & Broughton Gifford on 25th October 2024 between 19:00 and 23:59

Urgent Closure of: B3107 (Part), Melksham & Broughton Gifford
WILTSHIRE COUNCIL HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that on 25th October 2024, the following length of road shall be closed to all traffic in the interests of public safety to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway reactive patching and associated works.
B3107, Melksham & Broughton Gifford; from its roundabout junction with A350 to its junction with Melksham Lane.
Alternative route: via A350 – A365 – B3109 – B3105 – B3107 (unaffected length) and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. Access will be maintained for
residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. These works will commence on 25th October 2024 and are anticipated to be required for 1 day between the hours of 19:00 and 23:59. This Notice will have a maximum duration of 5 days.

Flood Gates

It is not the responsibility of Holt Parish Council or the community.

However, anyone can report flooding or the need to reopen the gates via the MyWilts App, the Wiltshire Council website. Or calling:

The order is required to enable carriageway retexturing and associated maintenance works.

Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

1. B3109 (Part), South Wraxall; from its junction with C224 to its junction with C214.

Alternative route

1. via B3109 (unaffected length) – B3105 – B3107 – A365 – B3109 and vice versa.

Temporary Closure of B3109 (part) on Monday 7th October 2024

Temporary Closure of: B3109 (Part), Bradford on Avon, South Wraxall and Box (Ref:
TTRO 9771)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to
all traffic:
B3109 (Part), Bradford on Avon, South Wraxall and Box; from its junction with B3105 to
its junction with A365.
To enable: Wiltshire Council to carry out drainage and associated works.
Alternative route: via A365 – B3107 – B3105 and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.
This Order will come into operation on 07 October 2024 and the closure will be required
between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 for 1 day. It is anticipated that the works will take the
stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained
for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of
the works.

27 February 2025. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due
to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
