The playpark was built by Playforce in early 2000 with the funds raised by a group of parents and grants including money from the development of Lions Orchard.
It was then handed to the Parish Council who have maintained, replaced and invested in new fencing, swings, scramble net, playbridge and extra seating.
Safety checks are done weekly by the Parish Council and an annual inspection is carried out by Rospa who are an accredited play inspector.
