There are two defibrillators within the village – one is on the end wall of the Village Hall facing the main road; the second is on the front wall of the Pavilion on the recreation ground.

Village Hall defibrillator

Access by phoning as instructed on the box, get the code and open the cabinet.

Adult and Paediatric pads in the Village Hall defibrillator cabinet.

Pavilion Defibrillator

Access by using the key located behind the adjacent break-glass.

ONLY Adult pads in the Pavilion defibrillator cabinet.

Both defibrillators are regularly checked by the Parish Council and pads and batteries replaced as necessary.

A common misconception regarding defibrillators is that the patient needs to be taken to the cabinet location. This is not correct as the actual defibrillator in the cabinet is totally portable and can be taken to the patient. Once opened the defibrillator gives step by step verbal instruction as to how to proceed and use the defibrillator.
