Neighbourhood Plan Update as at October 2017

Our sub Groups have been working on the feasibility and practicality of implementing  residents wishes .Please see the Neighbourhood Plan section of this website for an update.
The Highways and Streetscene Committee are currently looking at:
Completing a survey of the pavements in the village
Consulting with Wiltshire Council re traffic calming measures on B3107
Considering a new bus shelter outside the Three Lions
Extension of double yellow lines at Beckerley Lane
Researching Improvement of the Zebra crossing – warning flashing LED lights
Junction improvements – The Midlands/The Street/The Common – possibly in line with future Tannery Development

 

Holt Neighbourhood Plan

A Referendum relating to the Holt Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 24 November 2016  in the Village Hall
The question which will be asked in the Referendum is ‘Do you want Wiltshire Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Holt to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?                   Two documents will be available for information this week
Monday 17 October 2016: Information Statement
Thursday 20 October: Notice of Referendum
Both these items will be available for viewing on the Neighbourhood Plan page of this website

Wiltshire Council offer Holt Neighbourhood Plan for Consultation

I a major step forward, the Holt Neighbourhood Plan has entered its final consutation stage.  Details of the consultation may be found at http://consult.wiltshire.gov.uk/portal/spatial_planning/np/holt_np/holt_neighbourhood_plan.  Following this consultation, the comments received will be passed to an independent examiner, to be appointed by Wiltshire Council, who will consider the representations and determine if the plan should be put to a community referendum.  The consultation ends on 28 October 2015.

Neighbourhood Plan Submitted to Wiltshire Council

The final draft of the Neighbourhood Plan has been submitted to Wiltshire Council.  It can be viewed or downloaded from the Neighbourhood Plan page to the left of this notice.
